Sierra Nevada Corp. has finished repairs and upgrades to the atmospheric-test version of its Dream Chaser mini-shuttle, ready for ground and drop tests this fall to check out software for space station cargo delivery nights by 2020. This will complete a "significant milestone" under its previous NASA contract to develop a commercial crew vehicle while also advancing work on the cargo version. The company did not win a contract to fly astronauts but was selected for at least six cargo flights over five years. It is marketing both versions of the reusable vehicle worldwide.
