One of this year's most interesting campaigns is the race for the Senate in New Hampshire, where money from defense interests might actually make a difference. Republican incumbent Kelly Ayotte is so far winning the money game, thanks in large part to aerospace and defense companies. Since joining the Senate in 2011, Ayotte has become an active member on aviation and national security matters. She leads the Senate Commerce, Transportation and Science Committee's panel on aviation and chairs the Senate Armed Services readiness subcommittee.
