Aerospace needs to work with Silicon Valley entrepreneurs, adapt their technology, adopt their culture and not fight them, says Airbus Group CEO Tom Enders. At stake is not just engineering talent but faster development times and technologies that could disrupt aviation. "We need to pay more attention to the new players, not only their products but also their perspective, their philosophy of innovation. More important, we need to be open to partnering with them," Bnders told the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics' Aviation 2015 forum in Dallas in June.
