When it comes to cabin comfort, the most eye-catching developments are taking place at opposite ends of the aircraft. As airlines attempt to outclass each other to lay claim to offering the plushest, most spacious premium cabins in the sky-think Etihad Airways' recently launched Residence product or Air France's new La Premiere suites-passengers at the lowest end of the budget scale are finding it is very much a case of "You get what you pay for."
