Leaders have been appointed to key Boeing Commercial Aircraft programs, filling out an initiative that BCA President and CEO Ray Conner started in December. Named to Vice President Scott Fancher's development team are Vice President Robert C. Feldmann, a systems engineering and integration product team veteran, as general manager of the 777X program, the stretched version of the big twin-engine family that the company is close to launching (see page 26). Most recently, Feldmann headed the 737 MAX program, but at that time it was part of the 737 Next Generation production office. Now it is a separate development unit. The new general manager of MAX development is Vice President Keith Leverkuhn, formerly Boeing's head of propulsion systems.
