Emirates' huge order for more Airbus A380s is leaving competitors puzzled about how to react to the ever-increasing market presence of carriers in the Middle East. Emirates last week placed an order for 32 A380s at the Berlin Air Show, the largest-ever single order for the aircraft and the fourth repeat order by the airline. The deal raises the number of A380s on firm order at the airline to 90, more than a third of Airbus's total orderbook of 234 for the aircraft.
