A new lawsuit is threatening to add fuel to a protracted legal battle pitting minority investors in ImageSat International, operator of Israel's Eros imaging satellites, against ImageSat's industrial shareholders.rnOn Apr. 8, U.S. Bancorp of Delaware and IDI FB of Paris filed suit in U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York accusing ImageSat, along with its major shareholders-Israel Aerospace Industries, Elbit Systems and its subsidiary Elop-and present and former officers of alleged fraud and breach of contract related to the Eros satellites, which were built by IAI and Elbit. State-owned IAI has a 46% stake in Netherlands Antilles-based ImageSat, which was created in 1994 by IAI and Core Software of the U.S. to commercialize Earth observation data and technology developed through Israel's Ofeq military surveillance satellite program. Elbit, which is listed on the Nasdaq exchange in New York, owns 14%.
