Graham Warwick, senior technology editor of Aviation Week, will receive the 2009 Lauren D. Lyman Award for excellence in aviation journalism, sponsored by the Aerospace Industries Assn. He will be presented with the award at a ceremony in Washington on Dec. 16.rnWith more than 30 years of experience, Warwick is widely regarded for his deep understanding of technology and is frequently an expert guest speaker on programs such as Public Radio International's 'The Takeaway" and NBC News. Most recently, he led a team of Aviation Week editors in developing a special report on technology innovation in the aerospace industry (AW&ST Oct. 26/Nov. 2, pp. 50-78). In 2002, Warwick won the Royal Aeronautical Society's Decade of Excellence Award.
