The United Arab Emirates wants to develop an indigenous business jet as part of an effort to leverage the region's growing appetite for executive aviation products and services. The venture would likely include Italian manufacturer Piaggio, in which Mubadala has a 35% controlling interest, says Mubadala's associate aerospace director, Homaid Al Shemmari.
