New Israeli UAV designs will incorporate radar, visual and aural stealth, carry both short-and long-range missiles and, in time, serve as platforms for nonexplosive devices such as lasers and high-power microwave weapons. Israel's largest designers and producers of unmanned aircraft—Elbit Systems and Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI)—fore- see the expansion of UAV use in the Israeli military and among its foreign customers, which have become a major source of revenue growth for both companies.
