The American Society of Aviation Artists joins Aviation Week & Space Technology for the ninth year in presenting art selected from ASAA's 2008 Exhibition in this annual special issue. AW&ST has selected its "Best of the Best" award winner and top choices for honors in the categories of Military, Commercial, General Aviation and Space, while ASAA prize winners were chosen by Seattle-based classical realism artist Juliet Aristides and other designated ASAA judges. The 2008 International Aerospace Exhibition was on display from June 13 through Sept. 14 in the Museum of Flight in Seattle. The museum proved to be a tremendous venue for ASAA's large aerospace audience in the Pacific Northwest and the perfect location for ASAA's annual Aviation Art Forum, which drew artists from the U.S., Canada, Great Britain, France, Switzerland, Pakistan, New Zealand and Brazil.
