Healthy sales of transports to expanding airlines in Asia and equally strong sales of corporate aircraft, including very light jets, will help drive annual aero-turbine production to more than 10,000 units by 2011. Also contributing to this increase of 1,000 engines over the estimate for 2010 is a strong market for both military and civilian helicopters. Total engine production is expected to peak in 2013, and then begin a decline as the cyclical process is repeated.
