Planners at Dassault Falcon Jet look to take advantage of a sharp ramp-up in completions of the Falcon 7X to expand use of Catia/Product Lifecycle Management tools to its other high-end models. Falcon Jet, a wholly owned subsidiary of Dassault Aviation, is in the final stages of an expansion and reorganization at the firm's primary completion facility in Little Rock, Ark., to accommodate the 7X and Falcon 900 trijets and 2000 twinjet. The company is adding 100,000 sq. ft. of floor space and hiring 200 new workers to meet the delivery schedule for the 7X, which is already sold out through 2011, and satisfy buoyant demand for other models (see p. 62).
