Gulfstream's parent, General Dynamics, recently reported that the business jet maker has logged two good quarters in a row with interest picking up "across the board" and momentum expected to continue. Nicholas D. Chabraja, General Dynamics chairman and CEO, told financial analysts in a first-quarter earnings teleconference that things are also looking good for Gulfstream through the first two quarters of 2005. Prices are firming up for new aircraft and the U.S. business jet maker has all nine of the pre-owned aircraft in its inventory either under contract or in use under interim leases. The last available slots this year for G550s and G500s are already spoken for, but there are slots for these aircraft and the G450 available next year.
