Anke Kaysser-Pyzalla has been named chair of the executive board of German aerospace center DLR. The materials scientist and engineer was president of the Technical University of Braunschweig, managing director of the Max Planck Institute and scientific director of the Helmholtz Centre for Materials and Energy. Microsatellite developer Astranis has named former NASA Administrator Dan Goldin as a senior advisor to the company and chairman of its new technical advisory board.
