Raha Hakimdavar has joined Ball Aerospace as director of space sciences to lead the company's civil space programs. Defense and intelligence space veteran Tom Mclntyre will serve as Ball's director of government relations. Hakimdavar held one of two Presidential Management Fellowships with the NASA Goddard Space Flight Center. Mclntyre was deputy director of the Office of Space Launch at the National Reconnaissance Office. Josef Koecher has been promoted to Diehl Aviation CEO from chief operating officer, taking over from Rainer von Borstel, who retired in April after 11 years at the company. Koecher also joined the executive board. His management experience spans two decades at Airbus and ArianeGroup.
