Ryan Reid has been promoted to president of Boeing's Commercial Satellite Systems International. He will be responsible for the strategy, integration and execution of Boeing's commercial satellite business including ground-system and services contracts. Reid had led the development of the 11-satellite O3b mPOWER program for customer SES and held many program leadership roles during his 20-plus years with the company. Airbus has promoted Francisco Javier Sanchez Segura to executive vice president of engineering for defense and space, effective July 1. He was senior vice president of military aircraft and head of aircraft and systems. Sanchez Segura succeeds Sabine Klauke and will become a member of the executive committee.
