As Fall blows in and the leaves begin to change color, AWIS is also making big changes. Over the years, AWIS Magazine has transformed from the original black and white newsletter to the fresh, new digitally available publication you are reading. Yet, it continues as a record of women's contributions and impact on society as executives, faculty, volunteers, mathematicians, moms, scientists, and engineers. As your new Managing Editor, I couldn't be more excited to present to you the rebranded AWIS Magazine that better matches the fun, passion, and energy that you put towards your work every day. Each page is filled with intriguing topics, new trends, and issues of importance to women in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM). And because nearly every new magazine article features your fellow AWIS members, you can take advantage of our online directory that is free to you, and reach out to those members who are doing and saying interesting things!
