Known to be the simplest form of flying, powered paragliders require minimal equipment, are easy to operate, and are portable. The ability to take off in a very short distance, on flat ground, without wind is appealing. Combine that with an open, free feeling and it is understandable why full-size paragliding is enticing to so many. As with all types of aircraft, it is only natural to see it cross over into the RC world.
