Since this aircraft features a generous amount of fuselage area, you can really take advantage of the knife-edge flight characteristics that it offers. I have flown this airplane in winds up to 15mph and have found that one interesting variant of the popular knife-edge is to slow the airplane down while the nose of the aircraft is pointed into the wind. Then, roll the airplane 90 degrees to knife-edge flight. Utilize the throttle so that the airplane is barely moving forward and see how slow you can get the groundspeed of the airplane to be. At times, I have had the airplane in a knife-edge attitude while it wasn't moving forward at all-it was stationary! To make this all possible, various rudder, aileron, and elevator corrections will be needed, as well as proper use of the throttle. The result is very impressive!
