Don't be fooled, this is not a remote-controlled toy! The Blade Scout CX comes from the very successful Blade series of serious hobby-grade RC helicopters and it brings with it the same quality, rugged-ness and precise control all its heli-pad mates are known for. For control, you get a 3-channel 2.4GHz radio and that includes throttle on the left stick and cyclic (fore and aft) and left/right yaw control on the right stick. The proportional rotor head servo provides very smooth and precise control response. Some of the unexpected features include a charger built into the transmitter. Just plug in the 3.7V battery into the radio and the LED lights up. When the light goes out, the battery is ready to go. Also, you can adjust the control response with a dual-rate feature. Simply press the right stick assembly straight down until you hear a click and you go from mild to more responsive control. The on-board gyro does a great job providing solid directional control and stability. Also, should you require rebind-ing your radio to the Scout CX pressing the right stick downward is also part of the binding process. The instructions explain the procedure in detail.
