There is no real building time; all you have to do is install the 4 AA batteries into the transmitter, attach the flight packs to the charger ports and wait a few minutes. When you're done charging those, add one of the charged packs to the base module and attach it to any one of the three airplanes. I'd recommend your initial flight be in a decent-sized gym or at your local park until you get used to the flight characteristics of these planes.
