The Lynx-XF is a quick little electric ducted-fan model that is built for speed. The swept wing lends itself to that end, and the twin vertical stabilizers help it track very straight through those high-speed passes. There is plenty of lifting area on this plane (it's essentially all wing, without actually being a flying wing), which keeps the wing loading at a very comfortable level. It's constructed from bead foam and reinforced with carbon fiber spars in a few key areas. The result is a very tough and stiff little plane that still comes in at under a pound ready to fly with battery and all. The plane itself is fairly small so there is no need for removable wings, and there is no landing gear. There are, however, two well-positioned skids on the wings that save any damage to the servo arms upon landing.
