Electric ready-to-fly helicopters seem to be the hottest items in the hobby shops these days. These small engineering marvels can be flown within minutes of opening the box and are relatively inexpensive. The co-axial rotor helis, such as the Axe EZE and Blade CX2 featured here, are very stable and can have the beginner hovering with a few hours of practice. Once some experience is gained, the 3D-capable models are a low-stress way to learning new maneuvers. They're also great for flying in smaller spaces in your backyard or a nearby park.
