A roll is a maneuver that many pilots generally learn within the first couple of flights. Just hold full right or left aileron, and the plane will most likely perform a roll. But rolls are an integral part of many aerobatic routines. Throughout many advanced routines, rolls are often a predominant part of the maneuver. Learning to do rolls is easy; learning to do them with precision is not so easy, but with practice, it can be done.
