Sri Lanka-based Colombo Dockyard has delivered the 'Greatship Roopa', the first of a series of three Multipurpose Platform Supply Vessels (MPSVs) for Greatship Global Offshore Services of Singapore. The delivery occurred in early July, at the auspicious time of 0945 am. The 'Greatship Roopa' was designed by Singaporean naval architecture firm Seatech Solutions International. The vessel incorporates an oil recovery arrangement and has the capability to operate as an advanced PSV or light construction support vessel, complying to SPS Code 2008 Clean Design requirements.
