Sidel Inc. introduced Combi Predis FMa, a system for blowing bottles and filling sensitive products in aseptic conditions. Within the system, bottle rinsing is replaced with dry preform sterilization at oven entrance, using hydrogen peroxide vapor. Combi Predis FMa combines the Predis solution with Sidel's Sensofill FMa in a single piece of equipment for blowmolding, filling and capping. Predis dry-solution decontaminates preforms using hydrogen peroxide mix, the company says.
