摘要

With the 2016 Examination cycle now completed it is now time to look forward to the 2017 examinations . There are a number of areas which are being focussed on and these include a review of materials for Fundamentals in Distilling, the Syllabus for the Diploma papers in Brewing, Packaging and Distilling and also the continuing development of the Master Distiller Examination. The aim is to complete this work early in 2017 so that the Syllabus and therefore examination and training materials can be set for candidates sitting the exams in 2018. The areas of cider and craft brewing are also being addressed through the development of e-learning packages and an exam focussing on cider. At the Board of Examiners meeting in February these plans will be finalised.
