With an increase of the number of implants being inserted, it is inevitable that the number of cases of peri-implantitis with loss of bone will rise. We report a case in which an autogenous cancellous bone graft was placed into the peri-implant bone defect and given protection with a bioabsorbable polymer barrier (Atridox trade mark ) that released doxycycline slowly.
