I remember Arthur's sons Charles, Frank and George collected from us most days." Goats - in brake vans - "these were not popular with the guards." Beehives - "I occasionally had to deliver beehives with the bees swarming around - they were for Mr Weller, a local enthusiast." Pigeons - Pigeons were sent for release. "We tried to keep the release area away from wires - the best spot was the station forecourt."
