Staff remembered include: Station Masters - Spurgeon, Chadwick, Roe, Bass and Eastaugh. Passenger Clerks - Ted Allerton, Ivan Watling (took over from Ted when he transferred to Halesworth), Dennis Eastaugh (later Station Master), Helen Brown (later Lilley, daughter of shunter Walter Brown), Ted Cockerill, Peter Girling (later Station Master at Leiston when Dennis Eastaugh retired), Jim Waring and Pat Brady (later a Relief Station Master). Goods Clerks - Chief Good Clerks George Pryke, Cecil Barlow (took George's place when he retired), Junior Goods Clerk Thelma Block (later Wright) and clerk Mr Coates. (Both George and Cecil had previously worked at Aldeburgh as goods clerks.) Goods Shed Foreman - Geoff Cadman who is remembered as a great character. He was born at Wickham Market in 1905, and prior to coming to Saxmundham, Geoff drove a horse and cart on railway delivery work at Melton.
