摘要

A millimeter-wave mobile camera is a wireless camera that uses millimeter-wave-band radio waves. STRL developed this camera and has continued to enhance it. In this issue, a millimeter-wave mobile camera system for sports relay broadcasts by using the example of a golf program will be described. During a golf relay broadcast, a team composed of a cameraman, transmitting antenna operator, and receiving antenna operator move between holes with the players. A signal is transmitted via fiber-optic camera cable between the switching center and the receiving antenna operator (Figure).
