Years of work still face those involved in proactive identification and remediation of contaminated land in England, a major new report from the Environment Agency concludes. The Agency has published its long-awaited report on Dealing with Contaminated Land in England, commissioned by DEFRA from a Cranfield University-led consortium and covering the period up to the end of 2013. But it secured information from only 60% of English councils.
