Circuit breakers (CBs) appear quiet and unassuming. They are the wallflowers of the substation, the bits of equipment that may sit unused for months or even years. They're just waiting on the sidelines, quietly biding their time. But, that time will come. And, when you need that CB wallflower to dance, you need him to dance-instantly, without hesitation. If that wallflower doesn't dance when he is supposed to, disturbances can cascade, equipment can fail, and the network may be vulnerable.
