Currently, there are no other 100% fall protection solutions to climbing these difficult poles as effective as the RPD system. This system is industry leading and IPL is the only North American utility to be using such a system at this time. The device allows the anchorage at the top of the pole or at the bottom. When anchored at the bottom, it enhances a more effective rescue and reduces times to get an injured worker on the ground. The lower anchorage system may also be used in a Belay configuration which also reduces rescue time and controls fall distances to inches.
