摘要

The variety of technical solutions providing protection to operators of electrical engineering product (EEP) against electric shock isn't reflected in the current standards of the IEC (International Electrical Commission), by indexation of EEP with classes of electrical safety by protection method. Nowadays, such technical solutions are based on the following methods of operator protection corresponding to the following IEC safety classes: 1. Protection by insulations - main, dual, reinforced (strength- ened). Protection by main insulation is covered by IEC class 0. Protection by either dual or reinforced (strengthened) insulation is covered by IEC class Ⅱ; 2. Protection by insulation in combination with grounding of metal non-conductive parts is covered by IEC classes 01 and Ⅰ; 3. Protection by safe super low voltage of power supply is cov- ered by IEC class Ⅲ.
