摘要

This book will be of interest to academics and practitioners working on sustainable development-related issues. For researchers, it introduces a number of new and challenging concepts. For practitioners, there are a number of case studies setting out the practical nature of the integrating mechanism, framework and assessment methods the authors advance for evaluating sustainable development. In this respect, the book deserves to be read and warrants serious attention from policy-makers, consultants and practitioners alike because the text has the nerve to tackle some of the most pressing questions currently being asked about the sustainability of the built environment.
