South African transport utility Transnet has not yet released figures on the country's dry bulk exports for the first few months of this year, but it has announced that these have already fallen. Transnet Freight Rail (TFR) transported record volumes on its two main dry bulk lines last year - 60 Mt on the Sish-en iron ore railway to the Atlantic port of Saldanha, and 76.4 Mt on the coal line to Richards Bay Coal Terminal (RBCT).
