摘要

The Dzugutov scaling law for atomic diffusion in binary liquid alloys has been examined across the entire concentration ranges on the basis of a hard-sphere model. It turns out that the scaling law holds well for 29 binary alloys in the middle part of their composition ranges when no volume change on mixing is assumed. The importance of excess volume on alloying was suggested when discussing the scaled diffusion coefficient in a binary liquid alloy.
