Rolison heads the Advanced Electrochemical Materials section at the NRL, where her research focuses on multifunctional nanoarchitectures for rate-critical applications. She received a PhD degree in chemistry from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1980 and is a Fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science, the Association for Women in Science, and the Materials Research Society (inaugural class).
