摘要

This paper proposes a typology of 'learning-to-practice' in work-life balance. We do this by considering contributions to the current debate about work-life balance practices, then critically review the findings from three organisational case examples, which address the ongoing implementation of work-life balance, as examples of diversity management in action. We conclude that the introduction of a concept of communitarianism that recognises and accommodates continuing evolution will significantly assist in the development of practice. A key point to emerge is that too little may be being made of the 'dangers of difference' in the work-life balance debate.
