Henry J "Hank" Vanderpost of Vanhaven Holsteins, Bradford, Ontario, has been named the 1995 recipient of the Curtis Clark Achievement Award. His selection was announced on November 17th during the Holstein Show at the Royal Agricultural Winter Fair in Toronto, Ontario. Vanderpost is the eighth recipient of this award which was established in 1988 to honor the integrity and character of Curtis Clark of Acme Holsteins, Carstairs, Alberta, a man considered to be a master cowman. The award is sponsored by the Alberta Holstein Branch and goes to the dairy cattle exhibitor who possesses the ability, sportsmanship and dedication necessary to be respected by his fellow breeders and exhibitors. Selection of the winner is made by a special committee.
