This study explored the everyday information behaviour of twenty-one people living on a disadvantaged housing project in the United Kingdom. The findings suggest that affective aspects of information behaviour are key, that trust is vital, and that the term information can be a semantic barrier. The study further proposes ways to enable information access.%Cette étude a exploré les comportements informationnels quotidiens de 21 individus vivant dans un grand ensemble défavorisé du Royaume-Uni. Les résultats suggèrent que les aspects affectifs sont la clé des CI, que la confiance est essentielle et que le terme « information » peut être une barrière sémantique. Cette étude propose également des moyens pour faciliter l'accès à l'information.
