Jim Buffardi's work experience in the family business began when he was 14 years old, stuffing cannolis at the original Ferrara Bakery in Chicago. Four years later in 1959, he started working at Ferrara Pan Candy Co., which was established by the Ferrara, Buffardi and Pagano families in 1919.
