Many of you are very familiar with the International Sweets and Biscuits (ISM) Fair held each year in Cologne, Germany. To anyone who hasn't attended this confectionery event, it's one of those must-dos, must-sees to truly comprehend its size and globality. The regulars appreciate the fact that they can see most of the world's confectionery treats under one roof in one of Europe's most hospitable cities, even if it is held at the time of the year when cold, snow or rain happened to be in the forecast nearly every day. For those regulars who go there each year, particularly the exhibitors who have set up their booths in the American Pavilion under the auspices of the National Confectioners Association in the Rhineside Halls, Hall 8 had become a home away from home.
