BOEING began assembly of the first 747-8 Intercontinental (the passenger variant of the 747-8).rnAIRBRIDGE CARGO (the scheduled service division of VOLGA-DNEPR GROUP) leased a second 747-400ERF (33097) from AIR FRANCE.rnMASKARGO ACMI-leased three 747-200Fs from SOUTHERN AIRrneffective 1 May, and will add a fourth in July. Leases are effective through the end of 2011.rnUAE-based MIDEX AIRLINES took delivery of a 747-200F (ex-AIR FRANCE unit 24735). Midex is scheduled to take another ex-Air France 747-200F in June.
