摘要

ABB recently won a contract with CRH Europe Materials to provide process optimization solutions for twelve of their plants in Europe and the US. As a member of the World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD) Cement Sustainability Initiative, CRH has committed to a set of objectives covering issues such as CO_2 and climate protection, emission protection and lower use of fuels and raw materials. Currently, the data collection for calculating the required key performance indicators from their plants is done individually and often manually. ABB's proven Knowledge Manager software will help to automate this process and collect the information centrally from a regional server. ABB's scope includes software licenses, engineering of the tailored application, as well as commissioning.
