AIM USA has named John Paxton chairman of its board of directors. Paxton is executive vp and ceo of the Printing Solutions Group at Paxar Corp., White Plains, N.'Y. He replaces Jack O'Leary, president and ceo of International Imaging Materials, Amherst, N.Y., also a division of Paxar. Tomo Razmilovic, president and coo of Symbol Technologies, Bohemia, N.Y., has been appointed AIM vice chairman. John Tuttle, chairman and president of Micron Communications, the Boise, Idaho-based radio-frequency technology vendor, has been appointed an AIM board member. The seven-member board also includes Michael Lowry, president and ceo of Lowry Computer Products; Michael Ohanian, president of Intermec Technologies; Jack O'Leary, who will remain on the board; and AIM USA president and ceo Larry Roberts. AIM USA is no longer sponsoring the IQ Conference, formerly known as the Quick Response Show. VICS, the Voluntary Interindustry Commerce Standards organization, has opted to produce the show under a different name. The conference, dubbed VICS '98 The Retail Supply Chain Business Conference, will run concurrently with Retail Systems '98 in New Orleans June 15-18.
