BMI View: The year 2014 promises to be busy, politically, as many major emerging markets, including Brazil, Colombia, Egypt, India, Indonesia, South Africa, Thailand, and Turkey, will hold important elections - although for the most part, we do not expect too much turmoil. Internationally, the key events to watch are the ongoing rapprochement between the US and Iran, and Asia's maritime territorial disputes -both of which could transform their regions.
