Chinese Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation Minister Wu Yicommented on China's foreign trade prospect at a recent seminar on inter national e-conomy. The minister also to uched upon the topic of com-mon global development and prosperity. She predicted that China's total import and export volume will reach 400 billion U.S. dollars by the year 2000 with the import volume basically equal to that of export.
